The previous owner took those same stickers off of my boat. There is some ghosting but it really takes the right light to notice it. Most people won’t notice..
What would you use and how would you get these stickers off?

Depends how much "suntan" the boat had prior. Had the stickers removed on my Mack 15 years ago and still visible. Not super obvious, but you could probably make a template from the ghosts with the right lighting.

While at Harbor Freight get a plastic razor or on amazon. About $5 and don't have to worry about scratching or gouging gelcoat

You WILL have ghosting. How much depends on age and sun exposure.

I used a single edge razor blade scraper, very very carefully to remove the name and reg. numbers for my new to me 220 open. Any glue/adhesive left came off easily with acitone and a clean rag. I’ve had boats for almost 50 years and can say positively, any shadow of the old decal will eventually fade. May take 2 or 3 years. Won’t be that noticeable anyway.
