Dont you have an alarm panel with LED indicators?
Is the alarm only with key on, engine not running? Or with engine running? For how long? Does it clear/go off?

No alarm lights, alarm only with key on not while running, but engine doesn't turnover at start. can only be started if I jump it

I think you are talking about two entirely different issues. Needing to be jumped to start has nothing to do with the alarm you're hearing, which is probably low oil pressure, which is normal, till the engine runs long enough to build min oil pressure.
There are other alarms that come on when you first start the engine, water flow in the raw water pickup is one.
Interesting that you don't have an alarm panel, I didn't know there were any 26, 27 or 29 ft boats produced without them.
