I have Smart Rails on my 246 open for twenty years. Beware not to install them properly though.

Google Smart Rails. They only attach with an adhesive.
There is no access for the rails that are mechanically fastened.

I put Smart Rails on my 22’ Stalker 2 years ago and they work great. Pretty much a dry boat now.
I have a 1989 22' Stalker. What length Smart Rail did you buy, and do you have pictures of the install? I'm curious about this as an upgrade at some point.

I bought the 7.5’. The installation was easy. Just dedicate several hours.

Before the rails, the boat would be wet just from harbor slop. Now, everything stays dry in slop, chop, and swell at all speeds. I read about marginal improvement on posts but I see dramatic improvement. A lot of those posts were really vague. If I bought another Shamrock, one of the first projects would be Smart Rails. Feel free to let me know if you need more information.
