Hello, not sure if this is the best place for this but thought I would give it a shot. I am looking to rebuild the factory back to back seating on a mid 80s 20 cuddy that I am working on this winter.

The original seats came with the boat but unfortunately they are completely disassembled and only the hinges are present no rails etc or any way to mount them to the engine box.

I was hoping someone with the factory setup could post or send me a few pictures of the original mounting/ slide system so I can attempt to replicate it assuming original parts would be too much of a hassle to find.

Thanks for the help

Thanks, I always understand the amount of stuff McMaster has!

I was hoping to get a rough idea of what factory looked like just for the fun of recreating it since I am halfway there but will go with something of my own design if necessary.

That's the way mine are currently. I temporarily mounted them on some aluminum angle I had lying around with hasps front and rear so that I can take them out easily if I don't want the weight on the engine box. I have seen plenty that have managed to retain the lay down aspect of the factory ones and was hoping to replicate it.

Dogodell: My seating rails on a 1998 walk around are currently exposed because the mechanic removed the seating from the engine box leaving the rails attached. I will be passing the shop in a few and will take some photos so look out for them. Mike
