I’ve been lurking for a while and asking questions but I’ve never introduced myself.
I’m Jason and I’m in NJ. I have a 1995 220 WA that i purchased from a gentleman on here.

I bought the boat for inshore/nearshore fishing and have set her up for that. I’ve upgraded the electronics, done some wiring, and put a top and canvas on it. Still more id like to do but I’m really happy with her stability, sturdiness, and how she drifts.
Here’s some pictures of the wiring ive done, the electronics, the top, and how she looked when i got her.
Thanks for all of the help, this site has been an invaluable source of information.

Wiring.. I’m hoping i can modify the original cover so i can put it back over this.

Wiring stripped, and the mess i started with: 48FB9C04-3AE3-43B7-B708-D80C86D409E8.jpeg D9143688-352D-484D-A42A-7A0FDA523576.jpeg

    how she sits now:

garmin gps, raymarine bottom and radar, garmin flow scan, Lowrance vhf with ais, standard horizon vhf. Had planned on using a furuno but it was too large to work with this dash. Also not shown i redid the battery wiring and switch so that i have a house and starting bank totally separated with an ACR to charge them. No more worries of running the electronics all day with the engine off.

Looks nice and welcome! I'll bite, what is the wooden frame with the notches cut in the top ends?

Looking good. What area of Jersey? We are in Point Pleasant and keep our 26 over in the Glimmer Glass in Manasquan.

    Thanks everyone!

the wooden frame was something i made to hold the top while i installed the legs... i bought one of those tower kits and in hindsight i should have just had a top builder do the work.

the boat is currently in silverbay... on the other side of the canal. I’m looking to put her up in shark river next season.

The 22's are very seaworthy boats, I use mine mostly in the bay and near ocean also. I have had to come back into some mighty nasty looking inlets and she has never failed me. Good luck with her, she looks great. BTW what engine do you have?

Rejoice, her ocean going abilities have impressed me. I had a 23’ mako before this and this boat is a tank compared.

    it’s a 351 RWC
