I have a 1997 260 express and I installed a 6000btu cruise air split unit. I put the condensing unit on a shelf above the fresh water tank , I made a cabinet on top of the counter behind the sink to put the inside unit on. It turned out great looks like it was meant to be there. I am currently installing a 3kw Westerbeke generator on the port side. I have already ran the genset at the dock and it runs the ac just fine.I will send pics if you would like
