Long time Shammy owner - now making the family boat “new again”. Can anyone tell me where I can find what I think would be called the “tiller”? Mine is a corroded mess…not sure why it’s not stainless…..

    Supplier/part number?

    Thanks! A6DCD32F-B128-4040-BD9A-F330ACFECFE8.jpeg

Buck Algonquin or Jamestown distributors should have them, look under 'tiller arm'. We had a similar mess when we refurbished our '86 H/T

They last 30 years. What else lasts that long in salt water. That said they went to bronze. I think it was during a shortage that the iron tillers showed up.
