    New Owner with questions

There should be limber holes from the tank compartments to the bilge but none on the flotation. It just dawned on me, but at least on the older boats, there was no access to the flotation compartments. They were glassed closed.

Steve, the 45 gallon tank with fuel is about 360 lbs and the forward compartments are larger than the compartments for the tanks. I'm not sure of the exact detentions of them but just saying.?

The two compartments in front of the tanks are just about the same volume as two 55 gallon drums. The foam volume before expansion is about two gallons. The rest is air until filled with water.

It's not unusual for the weight to be a couple hundred pounds per side. If only one side we're saturated, it would list pretty good. One member reported taking both sides apart and said the foam weighed 350. Not sure how he weighed it but I took the foam out of an old Evenrude boat and it...

Need Help Winterizing Raw Water System

Met with Bob and when I left the marina, it looked like he had it well in hand. I enjoyed my visit with Bob and his daughter Kaity. Nice people for sure. The boat is a good looking boat for it's age. Someone took good care of it. I hope to get to hang out again with them.

Need Help Winterizing Raw Water System

The fresh water option was available but cost more. I think from my conversation with Bob, he has a FWC. What it called a half system. The block is antifreeze cooled but the exhaust manifolds, risers, transmission heat exchanger, and raw water pump are raw water cooled. All systems have a raw...
