    Hi all,
I'm wondering if any of you know what glue is used to attach the Foam in the bolsters to the board. Not sure if the backing board is HDPE or what it is. Anyway I'm replacing all of the vinyl on the boat and have to replace some of the foam as well. So if you know what glue I should be using that'd be great.
    Thanks!

my boat: 2006 246 Shamrock Open.
I'll attach photos of before and after if anyone is interested.

    3M Super 77 should work.

It is only "positioning" glue...once the cover is on it the glue is no longer needed...SO ...ANYTHING ( that doesn't melt the foam) is good.

I don't use glue except for really big floppy seats etc. Wrap the foam in thin plastic sheet in a way that will shed the water intrusion, slap it on there & the material will hold it. Also helps to "position" the foam on larger cushions, fill out the corners easier.

Thank you everyone I'll let you know how it goes. We've received our materials for doing all the cushions and bolsters. So hopefully soon the boss lady will be hard at work on it.
    I'll post some pics.

These are pictures of the dash and rear bolster (covers only) and one of the side bolsters (3 sets of stripes). So this is all coming along slowly. My wife slipped with the staple remover and jammed it into her hand so a short trip to get some stitches. All part of the job I guess. Anyway covers are looking good.

Attn: Moderator. I've posted some other pictures in other threads I started. Should I be posting updates somewhere else as I progress with this project?
Thank you.! Pictures attached are the old and the new covers

Ouch! Hope the wife's hand heals quickly! The project will make a nice change for you and hope the rest of the project goes much less painfully!
