Ok guys, now that Damon’s boat is done it’s time to plan a get together.
How is the 27th of July work for you all? The plan will be to raft up Saturday afternoon and have a fish fry and a few adult beverages, then slay the tuna Sunday morning.
Hope to get some of you from OC and LA to join in.

It would be great to meet you guys in person. I'm not familiar with the area other than trips with the family to Sea World. Where would the raft up be? Are the three of you in the same marina? I need logistical info to present my case to the war dept...

Sounds like the 27th will work. We raft up in Mariners cove, which is near the exit to the ocean. Launch at Dana Landing, free ramp and plenty of parking. This is a free anchorage so you are good for the night there. Bring significant others if you like or fishing partners. Some of us will bring our wives. Several of us have BBQ so if you don’t just bring something to grill. Probably meet up around 3-4ish. Last time we got some great shots of all the boats rafted up.

You can also get a slip at the Hyatt across the way and then use the amenities there. Jim (ibfishing) does that and it has more comforts, shower, pool, etc. Hopefully Jim will chine in. Or someone please text him and give him a heads-up.

Im glad I checked this thread, I dont have a shamrock anymore (still regret that) but id love to swing by and see some familiar faces. Ill talk to the wife and see if shes down to go for the night and maybe fish. On a side note. We got 7 YFT to about 20lbs last week and saw thousands of BFT that wanted nothing to do with anything we threw at them.
