Does anyone know what type of thread the raw water pick up has? Is it NPT or standard thread? It is on a 26" Mackenaw. Thanks

Might want to double check that information... Buck Algonquin catalog shows bronze intake strainers as N.P.S. thread (straight) and not as N.P.T. (tapered)...

I am trying to replace a galvanized reducer that is screwed on to the raw water pick up. The reducer has npt and I am sure it has destroyed the threads on the pick up if they are straight threads.

They have to be straight threads to match all the different hull thicknesses.
