I am having a hard time finding a replacement for the upper thermostat housing, on my Ford 302 PCM. PCM no longer has the part available. Any ideas on where to find one, or better yet, a stainless replacement?

Thanks mikev. If only they carried it. The original part number is R025002. I've been able to order all other parts but this one.

Take the old one to a stainless welding shop. They should be able to fabricate on. it is fairly straight forward.

Thanks for the recommendation, Ship. I may have to resort to that.

Thank, Damon. That was one of the two places I tried to order from; the other being Ski Nautique. Both informed be that it was no longer available from PCM, though it is shown as being in stock on their website.

Those unfortunately have not been available for 2-3 years now and a little disappointed in PCM. I have bought a couple of complete assemblies and the bottom U from fresh water skiboat part outs. This is what I meant in another post about not being able to run out and buy a replacement for a Ford, you have to plan in advance.

    Did you ever source one?

Became my unicorn now. Last piece of the puzzle too.
