Damn, this boat is quiet!

    Is possible to get this plastic where exhaust is going thru ?
    I will like to add this on my pilothouse

    I'm looking to do the project this coming week as I have it off (I'm a teacher).
    I'll be sure to take pics along the way and will post when I'm done.

    Also thinking of doing a bit of soundproofing under the floor, engine compartment hatch, etc. Previous owner said the original stuff got old and started to fall so he took it all off. I can see where it all was from the old adhesive residue. Any idea if it's worth the effort? Not sure how much engine noise is coming up through the floor.

    I removed the baffles and added a horizontal plate which acted as a support for the 4” stainless tube and a baffle. It went from the transom back to a few inches short if the back of the hooter. This was made from some 1/4” glass I laid up. At the end near the transom I laid up a saddle for the tube to lay in and put a brass insert in it so a bolt could go in from the inside of the tube so you could remove the tube without pulling the swimstep. Hope that makes sense. I think I have some pictures around and will try and find them.
